Product Description:

This genuine leather vest is a quintessential example of the Amekaji style, blending vintage American workwear and motorcycle culture. Its design draws inspiration from mid-20th-century Western cowboys and motorcyclists, emphasizing functionality and rugged aesthetics. The V-neck single-breasted structure with symmetrical curved stitching on the chest preserves the tough charm of traditional cowboy vests while enhancing modern fit through precise tailoring. Ideal for daily commuting, outdoor riding, or retro-themed gatherings, it’s a perfect choice for Amekaji enthusiasts and motorcycle culture followers. Historically, such vests served as practical protective gear for cowboys and riders; today, they’ve evolved into fashion symbols that express individuality and taste.
Leather Note:
The vest is crafted from top-grain leather, thick and supple, with a hand-rubbed and washed finish that reveals a natural tea-core hue and aged texture. A adjustable belt at the back waist enhances fit and adds visual layering. The tailored fit is snug without being restrictive, with optimized shoulder lines and hem curves that balance freedom of movement and clean silhouette. International stars like Tom Hardy in the Mad Max series showcased the wild allure of similar leather vests as post-apocalyptic warriors, while Ryan Gosling in Blade Runner 2049 used retro leather vests to reinforce his character’s coolness and mystery. This vest is not just clothing—it’s an expression of lifestyle: free, resilient, and untamed.

FIT ADVICE

How to Measure Yourself

Shopping online, as most of us do nowadays, you’ll want to know your measurements to help ensure a great fit. The sketch below shows where to take measurements to compare to clothing you already own. Keep in mind, however, those measurements will only be helpful if taken correctly. Tip: don’t let the measuring tape hang loose when you’re measuring, but avoid pulling the tape excessively tight. Here’s how to get accurate measurements:

Length: Measure from the bottom of the collar to the waist seam.

Shoulders: Measure between the top of the sleeve seams.

Chest: Measure the entire circumference of your chest. Begin with one end of the measuring tape 1 inch below the armhole at the fullest part of your chest. Then, keeping the tape level, wrap it around (under your armpits, around your shoulder blades, and back to the front) to get the measurement.

Sleeve: Accurately measuring sleeve length is tough to do yourself, so ask someone to help with this. Beginning with one end of the tape at the top of your arm, then down to your wrist. This entire length is your arm-length measurement.
